Bernadette Corporation
The artist collective “Bernadette Corporation” was founded in 1994 in New York, and though active in different cities works mainly in New York and Paris. The group of anonymous artists, active in shifting constellations, realises projects in the marginal areas of fashion, activism, and art. Amongst the results of their activities are a fashion label (Bernadette Corporation, 1995-1997), an art magazine (Made in the USA, 1999-2001), and in 2005 a collectively written novel Reena Spaulings. Their installations and videos have been shown in several international exhibitions, for example in Rotterdam, Hamburg, Paris, and Berlin.
