Sebastian Cichocki

Sebastian Cichocki was born in 1975 in Gliwice (Upper Silesia), where he lives also today. He studied sociology at the Silesian University in Katowice. His thesis dealt with the Jewish minority in Poland.
Sebastian Cichocki works as a curator for “Kronika”, the gallery for contemporary art of the Bytomskie Centrum Kultury (Bytom arts centre), and writes as an art critic. Since 2000 he has published more than two hundred and fifty texts on contemporary art in exhibition catalogues and art magazines (e.g., Atreon, Opcje, Ultramaryna). Furthermore he is editor of the fine arts section of the magazine “Opcje”.
Cichocki curated numerous exhibitions and organized cultural projects for various institutions in Poland and Germany. He cooperates with well-known institutions like the Foksal Gallery Foundation in Warsaw, the Bytomskie Centrum Kultury in Bytom, the Büro Kopernikus in Berlin as well as the post-graduate programme Curatorial Studies” at the Jagielloian University in Kraków, where he also teaches. Currently he cooperates with the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, where he is a member of the Programme Board.
Cichocki regularly gives art-historical talks in Poland and abroad (e.g., at Bunkier Sztuki in Kraków, the National Art Gallery Zachęta and the Raster Gallery in Warsaw, The School of Art Institute of Chicago, and the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam.)
Sebastian Cichocki is involved in three of Büro Kopernikus’ projects: the dance theatre production “Skarbek”, the “Elektropopklub”, and the radio art project “RadioSimulator”.

Seit 1976 ist Marcin Doś ununterbrochen tätig, hauptsächlich in Oberschlesien und dessen weiterer Umgebung. Angefangen vom Fußball spielen bis hin zur Leitung von Filmproduktionen. Dazwischen liegen rätselhafte Aktivitäten: Będzin Beat, T.O.Z.I., INDUNATURE Alternatif Turistik, P.R.I.
Aufschluss darüber kann man im Internet oder aber im persönlichen Gespräch finden. Dr. Mooner

Emanuel Günther aka Dr. Mooner ist Musiker, DJ und Künstler. Er ist Gründer des Elektromusiklabels "Erkrankung durch Musique" sowie Mitglied der Band "Club le Bomb". Dr. Mooner lebt in München.

Justin Hoffmann

Director of the Kunstverein Wolfsburg. Since 1988 curatorial work, since 1995 for the Munich Kunstraum, 1997-2000 at the Shedhalle in Zurich, 2000-2001 at the Kunsthalle Vienna. Worked as critic for the magazines Kunstforum International, artforum, Kunst-Bulletin, springerin, frieze, and the Süddeutsche Zeitung. Together with Marion von Osten he published the book "Das Phantom sucht seinen Mörder. Ein Reader zur Kulturalisierung der Ökonomie" ("The Phantom Seeks His Murderer: A reader on the culturalisation of the economy") in 1999. Founding member of the band FSK.

Jakub Jezierski

Jakub Jezierski lebt in Warschau. Er ist Webdesigner und Grafiker. Jezierski hat sich auf die Projektierung von Presseerzeugnissen, Typographie und zeichnerischer Grafik sowie Presseillustration spezialisiert. Er ist Mitbegründer der Zeitschrift "Fluid", deren künstlerischer Direktor er von 2000 bis 2002 war. "Fuid" wurde im Wettbewerb Chimera 2003 mit dem Preis für die beste Umschlaggestaltung des Jahres 2002 ausgezeichnet. 2003-2004 arbeitete er bei der Zeitschrift "A4". Als Illustrator arbeitete er außerdem für die Zeitschriften "Dosdedos" und "Media Marketing" sowie für den Fernsehsender MTV. Jezierski zeichnet auch für das system der visuellen Identifizierung der Firma Kula Sports verantwortlich. Er ist Mitglied der Vereinigung der angewandten Grafiker.

Kamila Kanclerz

Kamila Kanclerz arbeitet als Designerin für das erfolgreiche Modelabel „east chick“. Zudem ist sie Innenarchitektin. Kamila Kanclerz lebt und arbeitet in Warschau.

Anne Kersten

Born in Holzminden in 1973. From 1993 to 1997, she studied Philosophy, Religious Studies and Social Studies at the Hanover Technical University and from 1997 to 2003, Art at the College of Plastic Arts in Braunschweig and the School of Art in Glasgow. Anne Kersten lives and works in Berlin and Wolfsburg where she has been curator’s assistant at the Wolfsburg Art Society since 2003.

Katharina Marszewski

1980 in Warschau geboren. 1985 emigrieren ihre Eltern mit ihr nach Deutschland. Nach dem Abitur Aufenthalt in Polen, beschäftigt u.a.
als Location Scout und freie Fotografin. Organisierte kulturelle Treffen in ihrer Wohnung und spielte bahnbrechende Hits als schlechtester DJ der Welt aka Kaoskay auf bis Dato langweiligen Partys. 2000 Umzug nach Berlin. 2002 Beginn des Kunststudiums an der HBK Braunschweig (Klasse Raimund Kummer). 2004 Mitarbeit im Kunstverein Wolfsburg bei der Chicks On Speed Ausstellung unter der Leitung von Justin Hoffman. 2005 aktives Mitglied des Elektropopklubs in Bytom als Organisatorin und Künstlerin. 2006 Teilnahme an Projekten u.a. am Siemens Arts Programm (Dialoge II), Goethe Institut („Gebrauchsanweisung“, Fotowettbewerb) und Ausstellungen u.a in Düsseldorf und Acapulco.

Agnieszka Psiuk

Born in May, 1975, in Katowice. Studied economics.
Since 2001, Agnieszka Psiuk has published the monthly magazine “Ultramaryna” and run the internet portal of the same name (www.ultramaryna.pl), both of which provide information on arts and entertainment in Upper Silesia. She is also active as a photographer, likes French films and chansons, and in her free time she is learning Spanish. In 2005, she was a member of the Core Group of the “Elektropopklub” in Bytom.

Franziska Wicke

Franziska Wicke ist Künstlerin. Sie ist Mitglied der Freien Klasse Braunschweig und lebt in Braunschweig und Berlin.
